Sun Prairie Fire Truck Parade

One of our favorite family traditions is going downtown Sun Prairie for the Sun Prairie Fire Department Fire Truck Parade and Tree Lighting.  The night started with holiday dancing (Fusion Dance) and musical performances by the Sun Prairie Community Band and Chorus, and they were even volunteers handing out cookies!  The Grinch made appearance in the Fire Truck Parade (Top Left Photo), but that didn’t stop the parade as it went off without any glitches. The parade showcased Fire Trucks from Marshall, Cottage Grove, Sun Prairie, Stoughton, and a few private fire engines owned by enthusiasts.  After the parade, Santa arrived in Sun Prairie’s new Ladder 1 Truck and lit the Christmas tree!

If you didn’t get a chance to go this year we strongly recommend you put it on your calendar of must do things for next year’s holidays.
